It would have to be a custard pie, would it not? I believe that is what's considered traditional. As to who would deserve such treatment... I do not know. Varric, perhaps.
( Sensing the Inquisitor's resistance, Cassandra frowns. )
Is something the matter? I assure you the bed is comfortable enough.
Oh, I don't know. You seem suddenly to be more the expert on pie...throwing.
[ The question has her blinking, and Cecily looks from Cassandra to the bed. ]
I hope so, but I'm not taking it from you. [ And with that, she'll start to unsteadily settle down on the floor, making a big show of stretching out. ] Mmmm...very pliable. I'm almost sorry I've taken this very comfortable floor away from you.
( Cassandra snorts through her noise, more amused than angry. The floor is not exactly known for its pliability, but perhaps that had been the point. She pulls on one of the Inquisitor's arm. )
It is quite all right. I am accustomed to sleeping on the floor.
[ Cassandra is much stronger than she is, but Cecily has the power of absolute stubbornness to contribute to her efforts. As such, the Inquisitor is sort of tugged upward a bit, but not enough to be fully removed from the floor. ]
Please, Cassandra. You're making this very difficult for the both of us.
[ Damn you, Cassandra. So strong, and so stubborn. ]
I'm making...things difficulty for - nobody. [ Man, she's tired. Still able to act as a decent rag doll, though. ] Leave me here; you've done more than enough.
( In response to the Inquisitor's instruction, Cassandra drops her arm and leaves her on the floor. It's not long before she sits beside her, drawing her knees up to her chest.
Don't say she didn't warn you, Cecily. )
If you wanted to sleep on the floor, I could have left you at the tavern.
You argue with a mind like a steel trap. [ Cecily groans from her place on the floor before heaving an enormous sigh. ] Fine. You win this one. But it's only fair, another time, you sleep in my bed and I sleep on the floor.
[ This is fair, somehow. The Inquisitor manages to her to her feet only to quickly roll onto the offered bed, lying still on her side. ]
Mmph. Thank you.
i was on hiatus for a month but i'm back now if you're still interested! <3
( Cassandra opens her mouth to say something along the lines of: no, for it to be truly fair, they should be sharing the bed, but fortunately she manages to stop herself before the thought escapes her. Where in the world had that come from?
Nonetheless, she is soon distracted by the Inquisitor making herself comfortable on the bed.
Cassandra arches an eyebrow as she scoots backwards to rest her back against the mattress. )
Here I thought you would never concede.
SO LATE, totally fine if you'd prefer not to continue!!
I'm-...never give up. [ Though she had, and the bed seems absolutely inescapable now. ] So...there.
[ The room swims before her vision, and the soft lull of this borrowed comfort is calling to her. Still, Cecily rolls her head to face Cassandra, smiling lazily. ]
You're very good. D'you know that? [ The Inquisitor isn't more specific than that. ] You deserve all the...bed.
[ Does she have any effort left in her? Apparently! Cecily shifts, maneuvering clumsily toward the other side and leaving the other half of the space intentionally absent of her form. ]
There you go! Problem solved! "Thank you, Inquisitor, you're quite good at problems."

[ Please, Seeker. She's, like...half-asleep already. ]

Am I? ( An arched eyebrow. )
I am not the one making things more difficult for myself.
( Don't make her join you on the floor, Cecily! )
